Has this package been abandoned?

We have critical security vulnerabilities not getting updated, I see lots of unmerged PR's and unanswered issues. It appears abandoned, just wondering what the status is and if there is a recommended replacement path?

My apologies looks like it is not abandoned but the releases are just a little behind and the security issues are not getting prioritizied.

There are a number of critical CVE's reported in dependencies which are causing the docker image to be blocked.
