New Feature Release/Update

I'm excited to announce a major update to HodlEye Crypto Price Tracker:
🧾 Portfolio Management is now officially integrated!

With this new feature, you can now track your crypto investments directly within HodlEye — no more switching between spreadsheets or third-party tools. The portfolio system is split into two powerful sections:

🟢 Live Portfolio

• Monitor your active positions in real-time, including:
  • Buy price, current price
  • Invested amount
  • Live profit/loss
  • Percentage change
• The data auto-refreshes every 10 seconds for up-to-date accuracy.

📊 Trade Summary

• Keep track of completed trades with:
  • Buy & sell prices, profit in $, percentage gain
  • Date-based filtering for performance analysis
  • Bottom bar shows total invested, total profit/loss, and net performance

🔧 HodlEye remains a lightweight, Docker-based crypto tracker featuring:

• Unlimited price alarms
• Multiple data sources (Binance & OKX)
• Crypto news aggregation
• Economic calendar
• TradingView chart integration

🧪 The portfolio feature is brand new – feedback and bug reports are very welcome!

HodlEye Crypto Price Tracker – Release Notes v1.5.1

Hi everyone,

I’m excited to share version 1.5.1, a small but meaningful update that introduces a long‑requested feature and streamlines several parts of the codebase.

✨ What’s New

Category	Details
Portfolio	Notes on every transaction – You can now add personal notes to each buy/sell entry. A coloured dot beside the edit icon shows the status: • green = note present, • red = no note. Notes persist and appear in both Portfolio and Trade Summary views.

🚀 How to Update

1. Pull the latest code:

   git pull
   

2. Rebuild and restart the container:

   docker compose up -d --build
   

3. All existing data (now including notes) will remain intact.
