Dang it! I made exactly the same error as I did here - Sorry about that. Although weirdly, this time casting to float in this way did not error in OpenCL mode on my M1 macbook pro (it did in the issue I referenced... this is why I didn't catch it). I did a little research and I'm pretty sure casting to float with (float)tn_su will work in OpenCL on AMD cards and on nvidia and metal. I've pushed a fix for this here if you want to give it a test. If you could report back and let me know if that works I would super appreciate it since I don't have AMD graphics hardware to test on.

I just figured out how to make Resolve work in OpenCL mode on Linux with my NVidia card, and I get the same error as you reported with the previous version, so I'll add this to my testing/qc steps! The code change is working here now, so I'll assume it is fixed for you as well. Please report back if not!
