Currently, NVDA's help menu (press NVDA+n, then h) has ten items with visual separator lines dividing them into 3,3,4:
User guide
Commands quick reference
What's new
NV Access web site
Help, training and support
NV Access shop
License
Welcome dialog

About
Ideas have come up from time to time about adding new items such as a link to the user group, to Github issues or to our newsletter signup form. Adding more to the help menu would start to require sub-menus. So I would like to propose the following layout as a starting point. So you would still press NVDA+n, then h to get to the Help menu. This menu would now contain five sub-menus: Getting started, documentation, website, community and version with the following items in each:
Getting started, has:
Documentation, with:
Website, which links to:
Community, going to:
Version, with:
I've included links above to the locations of the proposed additions. My thought is that "Getting started" is a good place for new people to find information, and the others should be fairly logical. The "Website" section is a little random on the surface. The shop and newsletter COULD be moved to getting started, although I'm not quite sure where to put the others from the website section in that case. Happy to take suggestions / further discussion before creating an issue.
