Unsubscribe from package publish notifications

It doesn't appear to be possible to unsubscribe from email notifications about published packages.

There are some older threads on the subject, but there doesn't appear to be one within the new community discussions:
npm/feedback#424
npm/registry-issue-archive#284

The current workaround appears to be to mark them as spam.

This is ridiculous. I'm getting a ton of useless emails everyday now.
The fact that these notifications cannot be disabled is criminal.
I have now blocked emails from support@npmjs.com and reported them as spam.
