I believe that is to do with your vite.config.js or jsx your base: needs the / / for your repo eg /my-vite-app/

Do a search in your repo for React-icons or better still uninstall it as a dependency but if however, you must use it maybe try getting another icon group like fa or hi or io5

1. Import path case sensitivity

react-icons exports from lowercase paths. Instead of:

import { BsGithub } from "react-icons/Bs";

Use:

import { BsGithub } from "react-icons/bs";

Check the actual exports in node_modules/react-icons/ — the paths are all lowercase. This is the most common cause.

2. Missing dependency

If the import path is correct, make sure react-icons is installed:

npm install react-icons

3. For the GitHub Pages blank page

Once the import is fixed, add base to your vite.config.ts:
