AFAIK client-credentials are no longer available as a means of authenticating (which is confusing - because for some reason the documentation still lists it as available). Without it, I am forced to use OAuth (and it's variants) which makes it difficult for me and does not suit my particular workflow.

For my use case, I prefer using client-credentials: to access Trimble Connect APIs.
