HOW CAN I RUN THE APP ONLY IN AP MODE?

Hi, i need for my project to use the application only in AP mode, avoiding WiFi connection. I tried modifying some lines in utils.cpp but i can't find a way to automatically connect only in AP mode when the device is on.

Hi, tried to do this by modifying (in bold) the following lines:

1. utils.cpp

const char ST_SSID[MAX_HOST_LEN] = ""; //Default router ssid - modified by me as a const
const bool allowAP = true; // set to true to allow AP to startup if cannot connect to STA (router)
const bool usePing = false;

in startwifi function:
WiFi.mode(WIFI_AP);
WiFi.setAutoReconnect(true); // Set whether module will attempt to reconnect to an access point in case it is disconnected^M
WiFi.softAPdisconnect(false); // kill rogue AP on startup^M
//setWifiSTA(); commented

changed this line:
if (wlStat == WL_NO_SSID_AVAIL || allowAP) setWifiAP(); // AP allowed if no Station SSID eg on first time use
with:
**if (allowAP) setWifiAP(); **

2. globals.h

extern const char ST_SSID[];
extern const bool allowAP;
extern const bool usePing;

3. prefs.cpp

commented these lines, because caused errors if ST_SSID is const:

Despite this, Application start on AP mode, but after a few seconds, AP mode disconnected, and AP disappeared from WiFi lists. First i managed to run the app and try the start stream function, but after about 30 seconds it disconnects. Then I tried to reset but this time it disconnected before i managed to open the app.

After the disconnect, AP disappears from WiFi list. The only way to made it appears again is to reset the device
So, once i managed to run the app in stream mode, it seems to be really fast, so i think there is some other configuration that interrupts AP mode despite my modifies. Any suggestion??

dont change the code, use the web interface

It is literally in AP Mode by default. I think the instructions on Github are very well put together.
