Livestream Download Stops Mid-stream

Using the latest nightly build. Trying to download a livestream that does not allow rewind. I have done this in the past many times without issues. When I try to download the stream, it shows the download working correctly, as per the popup menu which shows progress. However, when I am ready to stop the download, I am not getting the notification which normally says download finished. When I go to open the file, it will only have a small portion of what should have been downloaded. For example, if the stream was 5 hours long when stopped, it will only have 40 minutes or so. The popup menu shows the file is being downloaded but when opening the final file, it will only have a small portion of what should have been. I am an amateur user when it comes to the command prompt, but I have been using this program for years. Normally if there is an issue with the download, it would stop the popup progress menu, but this is showing progress in the popup menu. I only see the partial download once I click stop and check the file. I apologize for my lack of knowledge and would appreciate any guidance that can be provided.

I've tested stream recording from 3 different sources and had no trouble – although, I can't test for as long as 5 hours.

Can you locate and send to me two files ? The first is the yt-dlp log file. Log files are located here:

 [your Mac]/Users/[your Home]/Library/Preferences/MacYTDL

The file name will start with "ytdl_log-" and end with [date-time].txt". It might have "Live_Stream" in the name.

The second is the MacYTDL settings file, "MacYTDL.plist" which is in the same folder.

Please post here or send an email if you have any trouble locating those files.

Have you turned on "Verbose logging" and "Add timestamps to log" ? If not, I recommend turning both on – it makes diagnosing problems easier. They are in the "Admin" dialog.

I really appreciate your response!
I have sent an email an instructed above and included both files. Here is an update after more testing last night. This information has been included in the email. - I ran another test last night after turning on verbose logging and timestamps. One download was successful running the full 6 hours, the other was cut off at 4 hours 40 min 59 seconds. The successful livestream finished on its own at the 6 hour mark, the unsuccessful livestream I had to click the stop button, as the download (popup menu) kept going after 6 hours. I got a download has finished popup after both endings. -
