Integration with Product Information Management (PIM) systems

I have been reviewing the Vendure project and I am wondering if it supports or can be integrated with Product Information Management (PIM) systems like Akeneo. Specifically, I am looking for a way to sync product data, such as descriptions, attributes, images, and pricing, between Vendure and an external PIM.

Could you provide any details on how to achieve this or if there is an existing integration available?

Yes, it is possible. You can use our Job Queue and Scheduled Tasks to regularly sync product data from PIM to Vendure in the background. As the product data models mostly are very custom we have no existing ready-made integrations yet. What do you expect from a PIM integration?
