GTK2 version: Opened menu stays on top of the screen on Alt+Tab

1. Open any menu. For instance File (Alt-F):
   
2. While it's still open switch to other app. For instance press Alt-Tab to swith to other App or open new app from Dash.
3. Current result: I still see opened menu on top of the opened app. Expected result: menu should be closed or not be shown on top of other app:
   

Installed version: CudaText 1.220.5.0, linux-x86_64-gtk2, fpc 3.2.3
OS: Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS

It's not only Alt-Tab related. If you open app from toolbar or from start menu it still remains on top.
