Build iOS app

I would like to run Aeolus on an iPad or iPhone. Is it possible to build the plugin with iOS as target?

It does compile for iOS. I was able to run it on iPad, and I assume it will also run on iPhone, but screen may not fit properly.

Yes, I can confirm. I built the Xcode project using this command:

cmake -G "Xcode" -DCMAKE_SYSTEM_NAME=iOS -DCMAKE_OSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET=12.0 -DWITH_ASIO=OFF -S "." -B "./build-ios"

Then I opened the project on Xcode and ran it, but the screen is too big for the iPhone. I haven't tried on the iPad yet.

You may try the develop branch, there is a setting for the UI scaling factor:

Sorry another question, when I start playing with a midi keyboard on the iPhone it makes an annoying noise. If I wait a dozen seconds and start playing again it makes the noise again. Any idea what can be the reason?

I am not sure about the noise, do you have it when reverb is disabled (put the reverb slider to the very left)?

With no reverb the noise disappear.

Yeah, the convolutional reverb is not optimized for mobile devices at all. Perhaps a simplier procedural reverb substitution would be better in this case.

Can you make a fix just for iOS? The strange thing is that it only happens at start.
