after 4 tries it did work and found a stream to watch but on older (dev) versions it crashes

Older dev versions are not supported. If you're not using the latest development version, then please try it out before reporting any issues.

This particular GQL query is quite hard to obtain the hash for, so unless more people run into the same issue, I can't do much about it. Checking and verifying the hash isn't currently possible. More time and observation is needed here.

I just started getting the issue now - latest version, running from source on Linux - just did a git pull right now ant it's still happening. Tried running the app 10 times, I get the error every single time. Here's the output I'm getting:

A little update - I tried building the latest version on Linux and still got the same error. Interestingly enough though, downloading the latest dev build for Windows (sha256:afda2c74bd0b760e95345b152fccaab8818d37c7b76bb1c838a91edd365594a3) and running it through Wine seems to be working for now (did a couple of manual reloads from the Settings menu to confirm). I even copied my cookies.jar and settings.json from the Linux version and it still runs. Weird...

EDIT: Seems the issue might have been temporary and Twitch's fault - tried running the Linux miner from source again now, and it's working. Also, sorry for submitting the error report above in this thread and not the other one - misread the error message and clicked here by mistake :/

I'm unable to find a commit with that hash. Not sure if you're using a fork, or just made some commits yourself.

The inventory GQL operation hash was indeed outdated, and I've just updated it, so I recommend getting the latest version. This should fix part of the crashes. The "VideoPlayerStreamInfoOverlayChannel" operation is still pending a check (and possibly also update) of it's GQL hash, but it's only been one report so far.

I've removed the other, unrelated errors, as there's already an open issue for them: #417. Please keep the issue on topic.

I'm still yet to come up with a way of checking for this particular GQL operation, as it's not possible for me to find it anymore on the Twitch website.

EDIT: The ChannelShell operation looks like a promising replacement, but I'd need to do some further testing to confirm this.
