TataruBook is a bookkeeping software that
- can record financial transactions and calculate various investment returns by using a unified data model;
- supports any kind, any number of assets (currencies, stocks, funds, real estate... etc.);
- uses simplified double-entry bookkeeping;
- puts all data and reports in one SQLite database file;
- supports pasting data copied from Excel;

About the name: Tataru Taru (Japanese: タタル・タル) is a female Lalafell NPC in the online game Final Fantasy XIV, developed by Square Enix. She is the money manager for the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. Tataru is not skilled in combat, but is gifted in finances, with bookkeeping being one of her main interests.
