golang minor version too old: got 1.9.3, need atleast 1.10 ?

I fear there's a need for update nowadays:

golang.mk:60: *** "ERROR: golang minor version too old: got 1.9.3, need atleast 1.10".  Stop.

I guess the following version should do: 1.12.3 according to https://github.com/kata-containers/runtime/blob/master/versions.yaml#L272
