Research Lab Professional Profile Research Profile

I'm committed to advancing my career as a Lead Biomedical Scientist. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, I analyze the wearable EEG and physiological data using advanced electrophysiology, signal processing, and machine learning methodologies. My current research focuses on developing automated systems for identifying pain-related biomarkers. Specifically, I investigate the spine–brain neural axis and the neural dynamics surrounding preoperative and postoperative phases to optimize and personalize neuromodulation therapies, including spinal cord stimulation, aimed at treating chronic pain and neurological disorders.

Education Background

Work Experience

Supervisor, Clinical Engineer (SCE)
Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, East Azerbaijan, Iran | 2017 – 2024
Industry: Hospitals & Health Care
Office: CED 311, V.C. Treatment Affairs Building, Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, University Main Street, Tabriz, East Azerbaijan, Iran.
Responsibility: I led clinical engineering teams, consisting of biomedical engineers, in hospitals to ensure the safe and effective use of medical devices. My responsibilities included managing medical devices, training end-users, and supervising the delivery and installation of capital equipment. I also collaborated with the WHO on the Iran COVID-19 Emergency Response Project, conducting data analysis to enhance patient care. Additionally, I was involved in licensing advanced medical imaging systems and establishing newly equipped therapeutic wards. Throughout my career, I have found opportunities to optimize device use and reduce costs across healthcare facilities.

Clinical Engineer (CE)
Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, East Azerbaijan, Iran | 2014 – 2017
Industry: Hospitals & Health Care
Office: CED 311, V.C. Treatment Affairs Building, Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, University Main Street, Tabriz, East Azerbaijan, Iran.
Responsibility: I evaluated and supervised the procurement of capital medical devices, ensuring they met hospital needs and fully complied with regulations. My responsibilities also included conducting safety inspections, audits, and quality control, as well as implementing preventive maintenance protocols to maximize medical equipment reliability. Additionally, I created clear and concise technical documents, including checklists and quick-reference guides, to support clinical staff and enhance operational efficiency.
