Cant get access to Web Portal after install

I have installed the Raspberry Pi 5 image using Pi Imager from Windows 10.

I can see nextcloudpi boot, and the boot messages eventually waits for a log in, telling me to access https:// or https://nextcloudpi.local/

From my Windows 10 machine (on the same LAN with the same subnet ie Pi 5 is 192.168.0.127 and my Windows machine is 192.168.0.225 - I cant open the nextcloud web page in a browser. It eventually times out. I've tried this on MS edge and Firefox, both dont display the page. One time I did get a warning saying hte certificate was not recognised (as I tried using https://) - but I told my browser to ignore it, and it still didnt work.

I can ping the Pi 5 from my Windows 10 PC using

ping 192.168.0.127

And it responds. I can't log in to the Pi 5 at the login prompt when I connect my keyboard/mouse/monitor as I believe its the web UI that makes the password.

I have used version 1.55.3 with the image downloaded from github

NextcloudPi_RaspberryPi5_v1.55.3.img

I cant get any info off the device because I cant get access to the web portal to log in for the 1st time.

It seems using 1.54.0 works first time. It tells me the certificate is not safe on the web page on frist activation, but it allows me to ignore it this time and I can see the stdout boot messages on the Pi 5 have gone passed the login (the part that says NSP not activated yet), the Pi 5 has started all the services redis, ssh, mariadb etc and lastly notify-push for Nextcloud clients.
Then using the web portal I can Activate, then log in with ncp and the firrst top password.

So the bug is only with the latest version 1.55.3

Is there any update on this? I have similar issue with even 1.54.0, and even with prior ones. My device is Rock64.
