I was recommended the nextcloud script from a forum comment. I had some trouble reading the script on my laptop screen so I reformatted the script for smaller screens as I was reviewing. I made these changes:
I may have missed some as this was not done automatically.
I do not believe this patch changes any functionality, but I did not test because this script did not work for me before I made changes testing with a Debian 12 LXC container and I see that is a known bad use case. Both attempts I made did appear to succeed though based on the text output from the script. I would recommend some verification checks that the intended goal succeeds before moving on and a check that the user is not root.
