Any breaking changes in resalloc

Hi @praiskup we(openEuler) still deploy a resalloc 4.9 in openEuler copr instance, and we plan to upgrade resalloc to v5.9 reccently, so im wondering whether any of the changes will break the upgrade path in resalloc+copr scenario :)

hi, from release logs https://github.com/praiskup/resalloc/releases, it seems to me like there shouldn't be breaking change. But let's wait for @praiskup ack just to be sure

I also read all the logs between 4.9 and 5.9, seems only a new feature agent added, which was used by OpenScanHub but not Copr right?

4.9 to 5.9 is a huge jump 😅 🤞 but I don't see any breaking changes. Many bugfixes, and new features, yes. If you can build resalloc and the build-time testsuite passes, you should be fine.

I hope you run with PostgreSQL; so the database model can be updated to the new version (alembic scripts).

Please try in staging first, and if you observe any issues, let us know.
