new domain name migration (was bridgetroll.org not responding)

We've tried to get in touch with volunteers who set up the domain name for a few years.... at this point I'm inclined to set up bridgetroll.bridgefoundry.org

I looked at the code and there's more to do here (if this is a permanent change)...

• emails come from info@bridgetroll.org - update email from address to events@bridgefoundry.org #1312
• bridgetroll URLs seem to be in the UI
• also README will need to be updated

ok, I've setup bridgetroll.bridgefoundry.org and enable heroku's Automatic Certificate Management. Right now it redirects to the apex domain bridgetroll.org. I deleted that from the app, but may take some time for it to propagate

found old issues suggesting events.bridgefoundry.org, so will switch hostname to that #488

I think the redirect is happening in a gem, found a clue here:

using heroku CLI, changed these two environment vars...

heroku config:set HOST_URL=events.bridgefoundry.org 
heroku config:set CANONICAL_HOST=events.bridgefoundry.org

I believe to fix this we need to re-deploy, which appears to need a Ruby upgrade (!)

via @mxie: The Heroku “stack” we were on reached EOL last month apparently. And the oldest version of Ruby that’s supported is now 3.2.x+. The app is using 2.7.7

So I guess this issue now depends on #1298

Update: fixed by restarting all the dynos!

So, app now responds at https://events.bridgefoundry.org/
